Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health datasets to identify trends, disparities, and opportunities for intervention
- Develop and implement evidence-based health promotion programs targeting underserved communities
- Lead cross-functional teams to coordinate public health emergency responses
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for county leadership
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Conduct community health needs assessments and program evaluations
- Represent the county in stakeholder meetings and public health forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health analysis or program management
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and data visualization tools
- Certified Public Health Professional (CPH) designation preferred
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and federal compliance (CDC/HRSA)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present complex data to diverse audiences
- Valid North Carolina driver's license and ability to travel to community sites
