Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and prioritize intervention strategies
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Lead cross-functional teams in grant writing and budget management for health initiatives
- Conduct community needs assessments and stakeholder engagement activities
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for County leadership and public health boards
- Monitor compliance with state and federal health regulations and standards
- Coordinate emergency response protocols during public health crises
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program analysis and implementation
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and data visualization tools
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience with grant writing and budget management in government settings
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and public health reporting requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse community stakeholders
