Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and recommend evidence-based interventions
- Develop public health reports and presentations for county leadership and community stakeholders
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Manage grant-funded projects related to chronic disease prevention
- Collaborate with community partners to design outreach programs
- Ensure compliance with CDC and state health department regulations
- Maintain confidential health databases with HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health data analysis
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and GIS mapping
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and program evaluation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across diverse community groups
