Responsibilities
- Design and implement data-driven public health strategies for Los Angeles County
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and threats
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for local health initiatives
- Coordinate with community organizations and government agencies on health programs
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders
- Oversee grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with state regulations
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance on public health methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health analysis or program management
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, or STATA)
- Experience with public health data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of California public health regulations and frameworks
- Strong grant management and budget oversight experience
- Valid California driver's license
