Responsibilities
- Analyze complex epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and trends in Southern Arizona
- Develop evidence-based public health interventions targeting vulnerable populations
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships including county health departments and community organizations
- Present findings to senior leadership and legislative stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling $500K+ with strict compliance requirements
- Lead public health emergency response protocols during disease outbreaks
- Mentor junior analysts on statistical methodologies and report preparation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health analysis experience with state/federal agencies
- Advanced proficiency in SAS, R, or SPSS for complex data modeling
- Proven experience developing community health improvement plans
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) or equivalent credential
- Expertise in Arizona's public health regulations and reporting systems
- Demonstrated success securing federal/state health grants
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
