Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological surveillance and analysis of health trends using advanced statistical software
- Develop comprehensive public health interventions targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Coordinate multi-agency health initiatives including vaccination programs and emergency preparedness
- Prepare detailed grant proposals and manage federal/state funding compliance
- Present health data insights to policymakers, community leaders, and the public
- Mentor junior staff and supervise community health worker programs
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and public health reporting regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Advanced proficiency in SAS, R, or SPSS for statistical analysis
- Valid Florida Public Health Professional license
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and federal funding management
- Strong knowledge of CDC/DOH guidelines and health equity frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
