Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive health data analysis to identify emerging public health trends in Maricopa County
- Develop and evaluate evidence-based health policies aligned with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement community health improvement initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for legislative stakeholders and public health committees
- Manage grant-funded projects supporting vulnerable populations across Phoenix metropolitan area
- Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards
- Mentor junior analysts on public health research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health policy analysis or program management
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and health data visualization tools
- Valid Arizona State Government security clearance eligibility
- Experience with federal grant administration (HRSA, CDC, etc.)
- Knowledge of Arizona Revised Statutes Title 36 (Health and Safety)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- PH certification or eligible for certification within 6 months
