Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Lead epidemiological investigations and outbreak response activities
- Provide clinical oversight to nursing staff and community health workers
- Collaborate with community partners to address social determinants of health
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with public health regulations
- Deliver health education workshops and vaccination campaigns
- Analyze health data to inform policy recommendations
Qualifications
- Valid California Registered Nurse license (RN)
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's in Public Health preferred
- Minimum 3 years of public health or community nursing experience
- Certification in Public Health Nursing (PHN) required
- Experience with health equity initiatives and culturally competent care
- Strong data analysis and grant management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Bilingual in English/Spanish highly desirable
