Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate public health policies using epidemiological data and socioeconomic analysis
- Lead interagency task forces to coordinate pandemic preparedness initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports for state legislature and federal grant applications
- Manage $2M+ federal compliance budgets with precise financial oversight
- Design community health interventions targeting vulnerable populations
- Represent agency at public hearings and stakeholder forums
- Mentor junior analysts on quantitative research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit sector
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS/R for statistical modeling
- Demonstrated success securing federal/state health grants
- Knowledge of Massachusetts' health care regulatory frameworks
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license (10% travel required)
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish highly desirable
