Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health data to identify emerging health trends and policy gaps in Los Angeles County
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations addressing health disparities and social determinants of health
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement public health initiatives aligned with state mandates
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for legislative stakeholders and community partners
- Monitor federal and state legislative developments affecting public health programs
- Lead community outreach to gather stakeholder input on health policy priorities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Policy Analysis, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health policy or government analysis
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies and statistical analysis
- Deep understanding of California's public health system and regulatory framework
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills with bilingual capabilities in Spanish preferred
