Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate statewide public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention
- Manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with federal/state/local health authorities
- Oversee program budgets exceeding $2M and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Analyze health data metrics to drive evidence-based policy recommendations
- Develop grant proposals to secure federal funding for health initiatives
- Present program outcomes to legislative committees and community stakeholders
- Mentor junior staff and lead continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health program management
- Proficiency in health data analytics and reporting tools
- Valid Indiana driver's license and willingness to travel statewide
- Experience managing federal grant-funded projects
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and public health regulations
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
