Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health intervention strategies for Dallas County
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response protocols during health crises
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and vulnerabilities
- Manage community vaccination campaigns and health education initiatives
- Lead stakeholder engagement with local government, healthcare providers, and community organizations
- Prepare detailed policy recommendations for state health legislation
- Maintain compliance with federal HIPAA and state public health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in government/public health administration
- Certified Public Health Professional (CPH) credential required
- Advanced proficiency in health data analysis platforms (e.g., SAS, R)
- Demonstrated crisis management experience during public health emergencies
- Strong knowledge of Texas public health code and federal regulations
- Excellent bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish preferred)
