Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and resource allocation needs
- Coordinate cross-sector partnerships with healthcare providers, NGOs, and local government agencies
- Develop grant proposals and manage federal/state funding for community health initiatives
- Lead public health emergency response planning and execution
- Conduct community needs assessments and deliver health education workshops
- Monitor program outcomes using KPIs and prepare executive reports for state leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Valid North Carolina Public Health certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Demonstrated success in securing and managing public health grants
- Experience with CMS and NC DHHS reporting systems
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills with diverse stakeholders
