Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting Atlanta metropolitan populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform intervention strategies
- Coordinate with local government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations
- Lead crisis response efforts for public health emergencies in Fulton County
- Secure and manage federal/state grant funding for health initiatives
- Train and supervise junior public health staff and volunteers
- Prepare comprehensive reports for the State Health Board and CDC partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of public health experience with government or non-profit organizations
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Proficient in SPSS, SAS, or R for statistical analysis
- Experience with emergency preparedness and response protocols
- Valid Georgia driver's license with clean record
- Knowledge of HIPAA, FERPA, and public health reporting regulations
