Responsibilities
- Design and execute public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify community health trends and inform policy decisions
- Led community outreach initiatives to promote vaccination and healthy lifestyle adoption
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, schools, and NGOs to maximize program impact
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council and state health agencies
- Manage program budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation
- Train junior staff on public health protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in government or non-profit public health roles
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficient in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance (e.g., CDC guidelines)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
