Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and recommend intervention strategies
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses for public health threats
- Oversee grant applications and manage program budgets ($2M+ annually)
- Train community health workers and partner organizations
- Advise county officials on public health policy and compliance
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives for health equity
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field
- 3+ years of public health program management experience
- Valid California Public Health Credential (CPH)
- Advanced proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS)
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and compliance
- Knowledge of CA Health & Safety Code requirements
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Certified in Emergency Management (CEM) preferred
