Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and maternal health initiatives
- Lead community health assessments and data analysis to identify emerging health disparities
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships with healthcare providers, nonprofits, and local government entities
- Manage grant-funded projects including budget oversight, reporting, and compliance monitoring
- Conduct health education workshops and outreach events for underserved communities
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and state health authorities
- Supervise junior staff and volunteer health advocates program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation preferred
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance regulations
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills required
