Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health promotion
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform strategic interventions
- Coordinate with community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies to build collaborative health initiatives
- Develop grant proposals and secure funding for public health projects
- Lead public health emergency preparedness and response planning
- Conduct community needs assessments and health education workshops
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for county leadership and public stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Valid Georgia Public Health Professional credential (CPH or equivalent)
- Advanced data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS, R, or SAS
- Proven grant writing and project management experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse communities
- Experience in public health emergency response planning
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with presentation expertise
