Responsibilities
- Design and execute community health assessment programs to identify emerging health threats and needs
- Develop targeted health education campaigns for diverse populations across El Paso County
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform public health policies and interventions
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses for public health crises
- Lead stakeholder engagement with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
- Mentor junior public health staff and promote continuous improvement in program delivery
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive public health experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Expertise in health data analysis and epidemiological methods
- Strong grant writing and program management skills
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)
- Experience with community outreach in diverse urban/rural settings
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
