Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data-driven public health interventions targeting underserved populations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design community outreach strategies
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and risks
- Secure and manage federal/state grant funding for public health initiatives
- Lead interagency partnerships with healthcare providers and community organizations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and state health authorities
- Supervise junior staff and coordinate volunteer programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive public health experience in urban settings
- Valid California Public Health Certification (CPH)
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated success in securing health program funding
- Experience with health equity initiatives and cultural competency
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
