Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health intervention strategies
- Lead emergency preparedness planning and community disaster response coordination
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and recommend policy changes
- Manage grant-funded health programs and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Train healthcare providers and community stakeholders on public health protocols
- Conduct health education outreach to underserved populations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive public health experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in Epi-Info or similar software
- Proven ability to manage complex health programs and budgets
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Virginia driver's license and reliable transportation
