Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data-driven public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Lead community health assessments and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and non-profits on health equity initiatives
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform policy recommendations and resource allocation
- Manage grant-funded projects with budgets exceeding $500,000
- Train and mentor junior staff on public health best practices
- Represent the county at regional health coalitions and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health experience in government or non-profit settings
- Proven expertise in health program development and evaluation
- Advanced proficiency in epidemiological data analysis tools (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS)
- Valid Colorado Public Health Professional certification
- Experience managing federal/state grant-funded projects
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse stakeholders
