Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health interventions targeting vulnerable populations
- Lead crisis response coordination for public health emergencies
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and risks
- Collaborate with community organizations and healthcare providers on health equity initiatives
- Manage grant-funded programs and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Train and mentor junior public health staff on best practices
- Prepare detailed reports for county commissioners and public health advisory boards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health experience in government or non-profit settings
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Expertise in health data analysis and program evaluation methodologies
- Demonstrated success in managing complex public health initiatives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to diverse audiences
- Experience with emergency preparedness and response protocols
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
