Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation and regulatory impacts using advanced data modeling techniques
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs for executive leadership and legislative committees
- Coordinate cross-departmental task forces to implement statewide initiatives
- Manage public engagement campaigns and stakeholder consultation processes
- Conduct economic impact assessments for proposed policy changes
- Represent the department at intergovernmental forums and public hearings
- Maintain compliance with Arizona Revised Statutes and federal regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Stata, or SPSS)
- Demonstrated success in developing evidence-based policy recommendations
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with Arizona legislative processes and budget cycles
- Professional certification (e.g., PPFA, CPAP) preferred
