Responsibilities
- Analyze state legislation and regulatory impacts on Jacksonville communities
- Develop data-driven policy recommendations for legislative committees
- Coordinate with local government stakeholders in North Florida
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and executive summaries
- Monitor budget allocations for public programs
- Lead cross-functional task force initiatives
- Present findings to state leadership and public forums
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Expert knowledge of Florida state government operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Florida driver's license (for occasional travel)
- Professional certification (PPA, CPP) preferred
