The City of Atlanta is urgently seeking a highly qualified Senior Public Works Project Manager to join our Infrastructure Division. Responsibilities
- Manage $10M+ public infrastructure projects from conception to completion
- Coordinate with federal/state agencies and private contractors
- Ensure compliance with ADA, OSHA, and municipal regulations
- Prepare and administer project budgets and schedules
- Lead cross-functional teams including engineers and inspectors
- Conduct site assessments and resolve technical issues
- Prepare progress reports for city council and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of public works project management experience
- PMP or PE certification required
- Experience with municipal infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management software
- Strong knowledge of Georgia DOT and city codes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
