Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and debug complex software applications using modern development methodologies and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of analysts, architects, and project managers to define system requirements and technical specifications.
- Maintain and improve existing legacy systems while ensuring high performance, scalability, and security standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers and interns.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment and post-launch support.
- Document technical processes, code libraries, and system architecture to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably in a government or enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle) and ORM technologies (Entity Framework, Hibernate).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
