Role Overview:
The Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our federal client's IT infrastructure. You will ensure high availability, security, and performance of critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure compliance with federal standards (FedRAMP).
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure and hardware.
- Conduct system performance tuning, capacity planning, and security audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Document system configurations and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration or network engineering.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
