Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Implement and enforce strict cybersecurity protocols to meet NIST and Federal standards.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize network devices such as routers, switches, and VPNs.
- Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery planning, and data integrity checks.
- Provide Level 3 technical support and mentorship to junior IT staff and government clients.
- Document technical processes, maintain IT asset inventories, and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
- 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration or Network Engineering.
- Proficiency with Active Directory, PowerShell, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Strong understanding of Federal IT standards, FISMA, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in a high-stakes environment.
