Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex server and network infrastructure solutions to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Configure and manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) to optimize resource allocation.
- Implement and monitor security protocols, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP).
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical system failures and coordinate with third-party vendors for hardware maintenance.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical architecture diagrams.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to enhance efficiency and security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration, networking, or IT infrastructure support.
- Active certification such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or equivalent.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Linux (Red Hat/CentOS), and Active Directory.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
