Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless environments.
- Oversee server management, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud migration initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal cybersecurity standards (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for critical business systems.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive IT strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in systems administration, network engineering, or IT infrastructure.
- Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with network security tools and incident response protocols.
- Texas state residency is required for this position.
