Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications and system designs.
- Lead the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure project success.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust database schemas and application interfaces using modern programming languages.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and perform system testing to ensure high-quality standards and security compliance.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and developers on the team.
- Identify process improvements and implement best practices to enhance system performance and user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, software development, or business analysis.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, .NET, or Python, with experience in cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) highly desirable.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a state government security clearance.
