Responsibilities
- Lead the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring alignment with state standards.
- Conduct detailed requirements analysis and translate complex business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications and databases using modern technologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, and project managers to ensure project milestones are met on time.
- Perform system testing, code reviews, and quality assurance checks to maintain high levels of system integrity and security.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support for internal stakeholders, resolving complex technical issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT consulting.
- Proven experience working in government or large-scale enterprise environments is highly desired.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Expertise in SQL database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
