Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define the technical vision and architecture for Project 2026, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives.
- System Design: Design and oversee the implementation of complex distributed systems with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and collaboration.
- Roadmap Execution: Drive the delivery of key milestones for Project 2026, managing trade-offs between technical debt, speed, and feature quality.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Code Quality: Establish and enforce rigorous coding standards, conducting code reviews and architectural audits to maintain system integrity.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or architect role.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in modern languages (Python, Go, or TypeScript) and frameworks (React, Node.js, or Spring Boot).
- Cloud Mastery: Proven experience designing and deploying applications on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Architecture: Strong understanding of microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and event-driven architecture.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues and make data-driven architectural decisions.
