Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive urban planning projects including zoning amendments, master plans, and transit-oriented developments
- Conduct complex demographic and economic analyses to inform policy recommendations

- Prepare detailed environmental impact assessments and compliance reports
- Collaborate with transportation, housing, and sustainability departments on integrated development strategies
- Manage planning databases using GIS and CAD technologies
- Represent the city at regional planning conferences and intergovernmental forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive urban planning experience in municipal government
- Professional AICP certification required
- Expertise in Philadelphia zoning code and Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code
- Advanced proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS) and CAD platforms
- Proven track record in leading community engagement initiatives
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Experience with federal grant applications (HUD, DOT, EPA)
