Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive urban planning strategies aligned with San Francisco's 2040 Vision
- Analyze zoning policies and propose legislative reforms to address housing affordability
- Lead community outreach initiatives for major infrastructure projects
- Prepare environmental impact reports and compliance documents
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on climate action planning
- Present findings to city commissions and public stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field (required)
- 5+ years of municipal planning experience
- California AICP certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in CEQA and California planning regulations
- Advanced GIS and data visualization skills
- Proven track record in affordable housing initiatives
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
