Responsibilities
- Manage departmental correspondence and records using state-approved systems
- Process payroll and expense reports with weekly disbursement
- Coordinate meetings and maintain executive schedules
- Assist in budget tracking and financial documentation
- Provide constituent support via phone and in-person inquiries
- Prepare reports and presentations for state leadership
- Ensure compliance with Michigan state regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in public sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and state databases
- Valid Michigan driver's license required
- Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with weekly payroll processing preferred
