Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone inquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date records in state database systems.
- Prepare, compile, and distribute reports, memos, and correspondence for department leadership.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and inter-agency visits.
- Process and verify documents to ensure strict compliance with state regulations and policies.
- Assist in the training and orientation of new administrative staff members.
- Provide exceptional customer service to the public, resolving issues and directing inquiries to the appropriate channels.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, clerical work, or a related government position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with state-specific software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on professionalism.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
