Responsibilities
- Process and verify daily and weekly timesheets and payroll documentation for state employees.
- Assist the public and state agencies with inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, and administrative procedures.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with state privacy regulations and compliance standards.
- Prepare and distribute reports, memos, and correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite and internal databases.
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications to ensure smooth workflow operations.
- Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist in the preparation of meeting agendas and travel vouchers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative or clerical experience in a government or corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive government information.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
