Responsibilities
- Analyze fiscal data and legislative impacts for state policy decisions
- Prepare detailed budget reports and legislative testimony
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on program evaluations
- Monitor compliance with state regulations and reporting standards
- Present findings to senior leadership and legislative bodies
- Develop data-driven recommendations for public sector improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of government or public sector experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools
- Knowledge of California state budget processes and regulations
- Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
