Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud environments.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for state agencies and internal departments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct system audits and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate records for state reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in IT systems administration or network engineering.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- U.S. Citizenship required for state government clearance.
