Responsibilities
- Manage and organize incoming state records, documents, and correspondence with strict attention to detail.
- Assist constituents and government officials by providing accurate information regarding state regulations and procedures.
- Prepare and review reports, memos, and official correspondence to ensure compliance with agency standards.
- Operate standard office equipment and government-specific software systems efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline administrative workflows and improve service delivery.
- Conduct routine data entry tasks and maintain up-to-date databases of public records.
- Attend regular staff meetings and provide verbal updates on ongoing projects and departmental goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required; an Associate’s degree in Public Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in an administrative or government support role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government document management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between state facilities if required.
