Responsibilities
- Process Applications: Review and verify incoming government job applications for accuracy and completeness.
- Customer Service: Assist constituents with inquiries regarding state programs, benefits, and services.
- Record Management: Maintain secure and up-to-date digital and physical records of all departmental transactions.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure all office operations adhere to state regulations and federal guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline workflow and improve service delivery.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze weekly reports to track departmental performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative support or government services.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government database management systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
- Integrity: Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
- Background: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
