Responsibilities
- Analyze state legislation and regulatory impacts using quantitative research methods
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and implementation roadmaps for agency leadership
- Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives to optimize public service delivery
- Manage stakeholder engagement processes including public hearings and community forums
- Monitor federal compliance requirements and adapt state policies accordingly
- Prepare executive reports and budget recommendations for the Governor's office
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of state/local government policy experience
- Advanced proficiency in policy analysis software (e.g., SAS, R)
- Georgia state residency required at time of hire
- Valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record
- Demonstrated experience with legislative bill tracking systems
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
