Responsibilities
- Manage Weekend Operations: Oversee daily shift activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management during non-standard hours.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency calls and dispatch necessary resources to ensure public safety and order.
- Regulatory Compliance: Enforce state laws, regulations, and agency policies to maintain high standards of operation.
- Record Keeping: Prepare detailed incident reports, maintain accurate logs, and ensure all documentation is filed correctly and on time.
- Coordination: Collaborate effectively with local law enforcement agencies and inter-agency teams to ensure seamless communication.
- Public Service: Provide professional assistance and information to the public and stakeholders during shift hours.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in government, public safety, or law enforcement is highly desirable.
- Licensure: Valid Class C Texas Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Schedule: Must be available to work rotating weekends, nights, and holidays as required by agency needs.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn agency-specific computer systems quickly.
