Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accurate pension records and benefit requests for state employees.
- Provide exceptional weekend customer service to retirees and active staff regarding inquiries.
- Ensure strict compliance with state and federal pension regulations and policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile weekly payroll and pension contributions.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reports on pension status and weekend operational metrics.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive government employee data at all times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in government administration or pension management.
- Must be available to work weekend shifts (e.g., Friday, Saturday, or Sunday).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and security clearance.
