Responsibilities
- Digitize and archive confidential municipal documents following Texas Public Information Act guidelines
- Process Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests within 72-hour deadlines
- Maintain secure physical and digital record storage systems
- Coordinate with department heads for document retrieval and audits
- Generate daily productivity reports for departmental review
- Ensure compliance with NARA and state record retention policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year document management or records experience
- Familiarity with FOIA and public record regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and document scanning software
- Ability to pass federal background check and security clearance
