Responsibilities
- Design and oversee highway/bridge construction projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Conduct traffic impact studies for new developments
- Manage DOT compliance documentation and permitting
- Lead cross-agency coordination with Maricopa County
- Prepare cost estimates and project timelines
- Review contractor bids and ensure quality standards
- Implement sustainable transportation solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited)
- 3+ years of transportation design experience
- Active Arizona PE license required
- Proficiency in MicroStation and GIS software
- Familiarity with MUTCD and AASHTO standards
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
- Valid Arizona driver's license
