Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive transportation plans and traffic impact studies for Fort Worth metropolitan area
- Analyze traffic data, land use patterns, and demographic trends to identify infrastructure needs
- Design multimodal transportation solutions including roadways, public transit, and pedestrian pathways
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and funding proposals for state and local stakeholders
- Coordinate with city planners, engineers, and community organizations to align regional transportation goals
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with federal/state transportation regulations
- Utilize GIS software and traffic modeling tools to simulate infrastructure improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in transportation planning or infrastructure development
- Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS), traffic modeling tools (TransCAD/Cube), and data analysis platforms
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex transportation datasets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Texas Driver's License with clean driving record
- Knowledge of federal/state transportation regulations (FHWA, TxDOT guidelines)
- Experience with public sector project management and budget oversight
