Responsibilities
- Analyze transportation data to identify infrastructure needs and recommend improvements
- Develop long-range transportation plans aligned with state and federal regulations
- Prepare environmental impact assessments and project documentation
- Collaborate with local governments and community stakeholders
- Manage project budgets and timelines using GIS software
- Present findings to public officials and community groups
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of transportation planning experience
- Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS) and transportation modeling tools
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Familiarity with NEPA and Texas transportation regulations
- Experience with public outreach and stakeholder engagement
